  1. G)raphics:  Options that tailor the visual output to your PC system.

  3. RBBS-PC allows you to sepcify:

  5.    (1)  Whether you want graphics versions of TEXT FILES (e.g. menus)
  6.    (2)  Whether you want PROMPTS COLORIZED (highlighting).
  7.    (3)  If highlighting, what COLOR you want for NORMAL TEXT
  8.    (4)  If highlighting, whether you want your color in BOLD (bright).

  10. If you want only typeable text, like this sentence, specify NONE to
  11. graphics for text files and NO highlighting.

  13. A)scii graphics for text files uses all 255 characters in the IBM
  14. character set for special effects like boxes.  You support the IBM PC
  15. character set if you see a heart  and straight line ────.
  16.  
  17. C)olor graphics uses all 255 IBM characters and the ANSI screen commands
  18. to provide color and sound effects and music.  This works only if your
  19. communications package must support ANSI.  QMODEM and PROCOMM do,
  20. SMARTCOM and CROSSTALK do not!!  Your system supports ANSI screen commands
  21. if this blinks in green.
